On Thursday (10-22) our little Owen Christopher turned 3 months old! Like every mommy & daddy who have gone before us, we don't need to say how amazed we are at how quickly Owen is growing & learning! While we don't have another Peds visit until he is 4 months old, we know that Owen has gained at least another inch or two and a few lbs since our last visit!

- He can SMILE now
- He loves to "talk" with mommy & daddy, frequently repeating vowel sounds back to us like "ahhh - ooooohh"
- He can hold his head up fairly well
- He can use his feet & legs to practice standing on mommy & daddy and will push off of surfaces
- He will really study objects & faces and he will track them
- He loves his swing
- He's beginning to like boppy time where he can stretch out and look around
- He likes to grab onto things that are close to him, so fingers, blankies, mommy's hair!
- He (is probably the only person) that loves to hear mommy sing - his favorites are "you are my sunshine", "Jesus loves me" and "Twinkle twinkle little star"...and we're working on Hail Purdue!
- He loves car rides and usually falls right asleep once the car starts moving, and almost always wakes up as soon as we pull into the garage
- He's a tummy sleeper
- He takes just about 6oz per each feeding
- He is in size 2 diapers
- In most things he is wearing a 3-6mo size because the poor kiddo needs the length!
- He is getting Zantac twice daily for reflux and it does seem to be helping
- He will usually sleep for 4-5hr blocks of time during the night now :)
- He's still sleeping in the PNP, but will be transitioning to his crib next week!

Owen is for sure a LONG and SKINNY baby....at least for the time being. He is very proportionate though :) So far, he does great with who ever is holding him...no separation anxiety, but if he takes after his mommy, I might be retracting that statement soon. We fall more and more in love with him each day, and while it doesn't seem possible it is SO true, which blows our minds. This little guy has become our life and despite all the challenges we've faced, there is no way I would change one thing about him.

Happy 3 Month birthday Owen! He's absolutely precious! He's really starting to fill out his chair! :) Before you know it he will be trying to climb out of it during monthly pictures time! :)

I'm pretty sure the pouty lip in the last picture is because he misses his Fairy Godmother/Aunt Sara. . .can't wait for Thanksgiving!
Look at the little "big man"in his chair - I love it. Give him a kiss for us.
