Yesterday Owen turned 5 months!

Sweet Owen Christopher is 5 months old - gosh where did the time go?! So many things have changed with him, so it's time for a stats/update report:

Stats/Updates:

• We were at the Peds not quite 2 weeks ago and he was weighing in at 15lbs 8oz
• He's still on formula only and taking between 4-6oz every 3-4hrs while awake
• He's been sleeping in his crib since Thanksgiving and will typically fall asleep between 7-8p and will stay asleep until around 2-3am when he wakes up for a feeding, but then goes right back asleep until 5:30-6:30am!
• He takes between 3-5 naps per day.
• We're still treating him for reflux but his Zantac dose was increased to .8mL twice a day
• He's wearing size 6-9 month clothes strictly for the length!
• He hates all chew toys except for Sophie the Giraffe...and his burp clothes
• He still loves his swing
• He has rolled over (from tummy to back) six times now while awake & trying!!
• He still tends to fall asleep while riding in the car on short car rides but HATES being in the car seat for longer than an hour.
  
• He has discovered mirrors and LOVES to look, smile and laugh at them
• He laughs with tickles, tummy kisses and daddy!
• He's still in his infant car seat, but we've removed all the positioners from the car seat now.
• He is getting one juice bottle a day (diluted with half water/half juice) because he's had some constipation problems lately.
• He LOVES being around other kids and will really watch & pay attention to them - so we go to a play group through our church :)
• He likes to scratch his fingers & nails on any surface he's on to hear what it sounds like :)
