Updates on our Move...

A lot of people have been asking us about how moving has been going, so I figured it was time for a general moving update. Originally, we were going to have moved last weekend, but after a few things came up, we knew that it just wasn't going to work out as planned, so we had to postpone the move. We were disappointed because we really had our hearts set on being moved in by now...but in the long run, this might be for the best. So far, we've been able to finish all the painting that needed to be done (by ourselves!), have the carpets professionally cleaned and we've moved everything over except our bedroom stuff, the 2 couches downstairs, the TV, our W&D and the kitchen necessities. This weekend we're going to be furniture shopping for a dining room table, a china cabinet/buffet, a master bedroom suite for us and a new couch. In addition to the shopping we will be doing, we've already found a new TV stand (that we just need to put together) and a new desk for our den...believe it or not, we were able to make enough money from Craig's List to buy the new desk in cash (it's a Pottery Barn splurge!).

Current plans are for us to finally make the "official" move on Saturday April 5th. Cory's parents will be in town that weekend and they were gracious enough to agree to helping us move the remaining apartment items. So, our first night in the house we will be hosting house guests! I love it! We will be sending out our new Westfield home address and new home phone number soon, so stay tuned.

Happy moving day!! Congratulations Cory and Julie! What a fun and exciting time for you two. We wish you the best and look forward to reading about all of your adventures in your new home.
Sincerely,

Also what a great idea to use the ceiling tiles - Cory is lucky to have such a clever and resourceful wife :)
