Here we are in the Alumni Center - posing in the Boilermaker Special:
We walked all around campus - as Dawn had not been back since homecoming '05! Here we are in front of the Northwestern/Stadium St. sign:
Our tickets were in the Alumni section just in front of the end zone - they were terrible seats, but we were in row 8, so it was fun to be so close to the field. It was in the low 40's all day, so we had to huddle together for warmth! Since the seats next to us were open, I called one of my students to see if she wanted to sit with us, so she & two of her friends came over from the student section. So, here we are -

Following our miserable loss to Minnesota, the 5 of us decided to go to Harry's to mourn our performance. My students got a big kick out of having a "drink" with a professor, ha!
By the time we got back to Indy that night, Dawn and I were both nursing (no pun intended, ha!) stuffy noses and cold symptoms. We spent Sunday just lounging around, watching football and talking - well, I was doing most of the talking by trying to convince Dawn that she needs to move back to IN once she's done with her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree this December! Luckily, she returned to North Carolina before I got worse - sinus infection turned bronchitis...yuck! It was a great weekend that went by way too fast.
