Owen's Room!

After a few weeks worth of work on what was the "blue room" in our house, we now have sweet baby Owen's nursery! Here are before & after pictures :)

The previous owners had this room painted a light baby blue:

Before we painted, we were both so nervous about using a Navy blue color, even on just one of the walls - however, we are SO happy with how it turned out and love the color contrast!

We decided to paint the outer room wall & the slant from the ceiling in Navy. You can also see the side table we purchased from Ikea (a few moths ago) to use with our glider (still a work in progress).

Here is a shot of the sand/khaki color we used on the other 3 walls and Owen's dresser/changing table from Ikea. I picked out brushed silver oval shaped knobs for the drawers (I wasn't a fan of the black ones that came with it), we're one short so don't mind the drawer that looks lopsided!

And here is a shot of Owen's crib all put together! Cory and his dad spent all day Saturday from this past weekend putting together all of Owen's furniture and finishing up the trim work in his room - they did a great job!
