Owen is 4 months old!

Our precious baby boy turned 4 months old yesterday. Every moment with him is such a blessing! Cory and I marvel at how much he has changed from month to month - but we are also taken aback by how fully Owen fills our hearts with true joy :)

Owen had his 4mo Peds appointment today and here are his stats:

• 14lbs 4.5oz
• 25 inches long
• Head is 41.5 cm
  
• Measuring at the 50th percentile (unadjusted for being born at 35wks) which is great growth since he was in the thirty something percentile at 2mo

Other fun Owen info:

• He's taking 5-6oz of formula every 3-4hrs while awake
• He's given us about 6 nights (just recently) where he'll sleep for 9-10hrs straight
• Typically he sleeps from 8p-2a then feeds and goes back down until about 6am
• Still sleeping in the PNP downstairs, but we will transition him to his room after our Holiday traveling is done.
• No rice cereal yet - he doesn't need it until around 5-6mo since his growth is fantastic and he's eating well
• He smiles and smiles and smiles at Mommy & Daddy - we're talking light up the room smiles!
• We've had some lone giggling - nothing consistent yet, but we're close
• No rolling yet, but boy has Owen mastered tummy time and looks like he might crawl before he rolls!
• He knows when Mommy & Daddy leave the room (and doesn't like it)
• His vocabulary of baby sounds is increasing greatly and he likes to repeat the sounds that Mommy & Daddy make
• He's wearing size 6-9mo clothes for the length - he's such a string bean!
• Wearing size 2-3 diapers now
• Dose of Zantac was increased since he weighs more now, so we're at 0.6mL twice a day until 6 months when we'll try to wean off
• He's discovered the TV - oh no!!!
• Doing much better in his bumbo seat - can sit in it for about 15-20min at a time with his head held high
• Love his floor play mat where he can lay down and swat at all his "friends" that are hanging above
• He's had his first cold - and survived!
• Still a tummy sleeper
