Merry Christmas from the Three Alberts!!!

Here's Owen ready for his Christmas morning hug!!

Owen, can you believe that it was just this time last year that Mommy & Daddy found out about you growing? You didn't even have a heartbeat yet...we were so very hopeful that you would stick around for 9 months...

and sure enough you did! Well, you really only stuck around for 8 months before you decided that you were ready to come out and see what your new world was like!

So, Merry Christmas my Owen Angel - you are the most wonderful Christmas blessing your Daddy and I have ever been given.

You're really trying to help your Daddy here - so close!!!
Just one of the many presents you were given with love from your family, darling.

Here you are at your first Christmas church service - it was wonderful! You smiled for Pastor Mills and many other folks who stopped to say "Merry Christmas" to us!

Here we are...the three of us, around our church Christmas tree! The decorations were all made by hand by some of our congregation members :)

Sweet Malachi (Pastor's son) helping pass out Christmas Poinsettias...such a good little helper!

The Mills Family!

So after a long day of talking with family on the phone, playing, eating, napping and swinging we ended your first Christmas with bath time...Daddy gave you belly kisses which made you laugh so loud! Then we put you in your snowman jammies and gave you your nighttime bottle and off to bed you went.

Owen Christopher...I don't know if we'll ever be able to fully explain to you how much you are loved and how much you have changed our lives. You perfectly fill the little empty hole that your Daddy and I had...and you give us such amazing JOY that sometimes it's almost too much to take...in a good way of course!

As your Daddy and I reflect on how much your birth has changed our lives, we remember that it was Jesus's birth that changed the world.

Merry Christmas everyone,
Love,
Cory, Julie and sweet baby Owen
