Even though it's a bit late...here are Owen's 6 month updates and stats:
- Weight = 17lbs
- Length = 27 inches
- Both put him in the 50th percentile for growth!
- He now gets 2-3 baby meals of oatmeal + a fruit or veggie/day and LOVES it
- He's only taking a 6oz bottle after waking up and before going to bed - he will take a few 4oz bottles during the day, but much prefers his baby food.
- As some one at church put it, he's discovered a whole new decibel level of his voice, ha!
- He can sit on his own but still topples over frequently
- Still wearing size 2-3 (yes that is an actual size) of papers swaddlers
- He wears a size 6-9 in clothes - carters still fit him best since he is long & lean
- He's such a good little shopper - loves to be out and looking at things with mommy in any store
- He loves going to mother goose story hour at Barnes & Noble each week - he gets so excited to be around all the other little kiddos and listen to the songs and stories
- He's settled into a fairly predictable napping schedule - 2 in the AM, 1 after lunch and 1 late afternoon.
- He gets a bath each night by daddy and has mastered splashing!
- Bedtime is usually between 6:30-7:30pm and he's been sleeping till about 5-6am most nights....we did have a week or so of waking up in the middle of night because of rolling over, but that seems to have tapered off lately.
- Sophie the giraffe is still our #1 toy but Owen will chew non-discriminatly on anything!
- Daddy makes Owen laugh the most - and his laugh is sounding more and more like mommy's laugh!
- We can't tell yet, but we think Owen is starting to reach for us now!

I LOVE his thighs! They are soooo adorable (as is the rest of him of course!) Way to grow and develop Owen! What a cute sweetie and he is as big as Riley now (size 3 diapers and 6-9 month clothes too!)
Oh my gosh! He is so so big! I cannot believe it. He's grown up so much since I saw him in October.
