Just can't wait to share my GOOD news!

Today, I was offered a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner job with Planned Parenthood of Indiana....... and this afternoon I accepted! I'm so excited, a little nervous but very ready to get started. I cannot tell you how much I've missed direct patient care! The position is part time, so I'll be able to continue my Assistant Professorship & teaching with Purdue (for now). My department head at Purdue has been very supportive of my efforts to seek out practice opportunities - which has made this process easier. I won't start until after the new year and I'll be on orientation for a while since I'm a brand new NP. So, stay tuned for more posts in January of my adventures with PPIN.
