Here are Aunt Linda, Momma Albert and Sister Sara the night before Thanksgiving - busy in the kitchen - beautiful as usual!
The sign says it all - you have NO IDEA how much food there was this year!
Cory's parents hosted the entire Albert/Baxter/Robertson/Todd families at their house this year, so to make extra room, they converted their garage into another dining room! It looked wonderful!
This is baby Johnny - we were there for his delivery in July'07 and we've not seen him since Christmas '07. He's so cute and growing up very fast. It was so hard to get a *good* picture of him b/c he was constantly playing/dancing/running around!
Here I am meeting Johnny's little brother, Andrew, for the first time! He's 7 months old and a total chubs! He has the sweetest baby personality and would let me love & cuddle with him as much as I wanted.
Here's Uncle Cory cuddling with Andrew - even though Andrew is technically a "cousin" to Cory and I, we are Aunt Julie & Uncle Cory to him :)
Like all our visits, this one went by way too fast. Cory's parents had to work every day except for Thanksgiving, so we didn't get to spend a lot of time with them during this trip. Cory and I ventured out on "Black Friday" for a few specific items - despite the good deals, it was insane and I don't think we'll do that again! We were able to spend the better part of Friday with Cory's sister Sara - which was really nice. We had to cut our visit a day short by leaving on Saturday due to all the rain/snow moving into the area on Sunday - it was the right decision to make, but we were disappointed about having to leave early. This is always the toughest time of the year for visiting with Cory's family - meaning we usually don't get to see each other until the spring time b/c of travel conditions. So, we're hoping that perhaps in March being able to visit again.
